(26/06/11) Friend's house

I went round my mate's house today. She insisted I did, because she's starting her new job tomorrow (as a care-home employee, she's been hoping for this job for ages so I'm really happy for her (: ) and I'm going off to Austria next weekend (Sunday). I was meant to get there at 1:30 but my Dad thought I meant leave at 1:30 so I ended up getting there at 2:00.. she wasn't mad though.

Basically spent the afternoon lazing about, drinking Lambrini out of millennium celabration glasses and watching TV. Also helped hang the washing up to, that was interesting haha. I had my dinner there too, 'cold-stuff'. Salads, sausage rolls, quiche and shiz. Yum yum yummy, it was so nice. Making me hungry again now just thinking about it.. Also saw a lot of planes (both modern and 2-seater) and hang-gliders as well. I suppose it was because the sky was so clear.

I really love planes. I'd rather have a flying license than a driving license. They're just so wonderful.. I've flown one before, one of the best days of my life. Just feel so free just flying around. My Granddad loves planes too, he used to be an engineer in the RAF. I guess it runs in the family... maybe I'll post some of my plane photos/videos up here sometime! Oh Jesus, I sound like such a nerd. Haha..

I do love them though.. people get annoyed cos I go on about them so much when I see one.. they're so cool to watch too, just wondering where they're off to. Distant lands or maybe just up to Edinburgh or something it's just the sense of adventure you get rom watching them.

Okay, I'm going to stop rambling now haha

So yeah, that was basically my day (:

It was soooo hot today, when I checked the thermometer in the evening it said it was 39 degrees.. uch
