21/06/11 Summer Solstice..

So today's the Summer Solstice.. I dunno why but I always get kinda depressed on Summer Solstice. Not because Summer's officially started (I love Summer), it's just this is the longest day of the year, and now they're going to get shorter again. There's just something about longer days that makes me happy. But it's fine, it'll take a while till they're short again..

Today I didn't really do anything special. I watched another half of a 'Dear John' episode, it was pretty funny. A lot better then the first episode I thought, which is good cos I thought it was a little flat for such a popular series. Or, maybe I was just not in the mood.. haha.

Also spent around an hour re-doing the Red Dwarf tumblr layout, it looks a lot better compared to the eye burner of a setup it was earlier. I'm pretty proud of the results I was able to achieve, by making a background, scribbling over a header and colour coordinating extras. I think it worked out rather well..

Anyway, today was a good day, if uneventful, happy times.
